Sara Lina McCann’s passion for hair and beauty started at a young age and grew quickly.  In her early teens, Sara remembers trying out her styling and coloring skills on all her friends, quickly becoming the go-to-girl for parties, dances and proms.

At age 14, Sara’s passion for hair began to take off while immersed in the hair industry as a hair model. Modeling the most current colors and styles in various cities across the United States and Canada, Sara’s interest in pursuing a career in hairstyling blossomed.

After attending college for Business and Marketing, Sara started a two-year hairstyling apprenticeship at Niagara College while working in reputable salons in Niagara.

With dreams of opening her own salon, Sara worked and trained continuously for another three years as a professional hairstylist.  With the help and encouragement of friends and family, Sara opened Salon Sara Lina in 2009.

Breaking away from the hectic, industrial atmosphere of many salons, Sara chose an elegant, 123-year old, building on Duke Street for her business. With high ceilings, tall windows, and an original fireplace, the house was already full of natural character that Sara merely enhanced.

The salon has grown to a total of five talented stylists to offer only the latest in haircare.
